Amphenol RF is prepared to assist and support requirements from end product suppliers who export EIP into China. Customers unsure what they must provide with their products into the China market should review the Order #39 as well as the 4 attached procedures to acquire a better understanding of the current requirements.
Due to the round shape of most Amphenol RF products, marking is generally supplied on a sheet known as product instructions. These are entirely in Chinese as required by the Order. If you need help in this area, please just contact the web site.
Phase 2 of the RoHS order will define in a catalog EIP specific products that will come under control of the order. No date has been announced at this time, but the end of 2007 is the current target. The catalog will be updated annually.
Please review the attachments below for a better understanding of this requirement.
Remember, exemptions are not permitted yet, under this requirement.
