HD-AFI Connectors

HD-AFI Connectors

The HD-AFI connector series is a solution for board-to-board RF applications, especially for the broadband and wireless marketplaces.

The HD-AFI interface utilizes a proprietary configuration that allows for a very stable RF signal over the full axial range of the connector system. It has generous “float” to compensate for the axial and radial misalignment due to packaging tolerances. This industry-leading float results in a maximum misalignment allowed by the system of 1.32 mm radial and 2 mm axial.

The interface is available as a 75 ohm connector system with a performance of DC to 18 GHz.

Features and Benefits
  • Proprietary configuration that allows for industry leading “float”
  • Closed entry interface, with crash-proof mating design
  • Wide variety of board-to-board mating configurations
Applications
  • CMTS
  • Broadband
  • Switch
  • Internet
  • Routers
  • Telecommunications
  • Military/Aerospace
