Amphenol RF freut sich, eine Erweiterung seiner 12G-SDI-Broadcast-Produkte vorstellen zu können. Es sind vier neue Produkte verfügbar, von denen drei für die Verwendung mit Belden 4505P-Kabeln ausgelegt sind:

Amphenol RF ist branchenführend im Angebot von Hochleistungs-Verbindungssteckern, die für die Verwendung mit Standardprodukten der Rundfunkindustrie optimiert sind. Diese 75-Ohm-Kabelstecker wurden für die Verwendung mit 4505P-Kabeln entwickelt und entsprechen den SMPTE 2082-Standards. Plenumkabel haben rauch- und flammhemmende Eigenschaften und sind notwendig, wenn sie in luftführenden Innenräumen verlegt werden.
Die Steckergehäuse sind vernickelt und die Kontakte sind vergoldet und aus Messing oder Phosphorbronze gefertigt. Die Komponenten sind so konstruiert, dass sie an das 4505P-Kabel gecrimpt werden können, wobei darauf geachtet wurde, die Montage und die Leistung des Steckers für die Übertragung zu verbessern. Bei der Leiterplattenbuchse für die Schottmontage werden ähnliche Materialien und Beschichtungen verwendet. Das Design ermöglicht es Entwicklern, auf eine kabelgebundene Verbindung zu verzichten, wobei das HF-Signal von einem Panel direkt auf eine Leiterplatte geleitet werden kann.
12G-Produkte eignen sich für eine Reihe von Anwendungen, darunter mobile und fest installierte Studiogeräte, hochauflösende Kameras sowie Video-Encoder und Wiedergabegeräte.
