HSD Connectors
High-Speed Data RF interfaces engineered for automotive and infotainment systems
Overview
Amphenol RF’s HSD (High-Speed Data) connectors are specialized, shielded RF solutions designed for high-bandwidth digital communication in compact spaces. Compliant with automotive and multimedia standards, they combine robust mechanical performance with reliable signal integrity—ideal for LVDS cameras, infotainment systems, USB, HDMI and more.
These board-mount and cable-mount HSD connectors support low-voltage differential signaling and are available in straight and right-angle styles. Designed for demanding environments, they facilitate automatic assembly and error-proof mating—with scoop-proof designs and primary/secondary locks to prevent misalignment or connector damage.
Features and Benefits
- Fully shielded design minimizes crosstalk and EMI in high-speed differential systems
- Compact form factor meets tight automotive packaging constraints using twisted-quad cables
- USCAR‑2 compliant with robust retention: features primary/secondary locks and enhanced retention force for reliability
- Assembly-ready auto solder/crimp options with scoop-proof and self-aligning insert design for manufacturing ease
