2.92 mm Solderless PCB Vertical Jacks
2.92 mm solderless PBC jacks are available in stripline and microstip configurations and eliminate solder joint variability. Solderless 2.92 mm connectors provide secure PCB attachment for microwave and millimeter-wave systems, prototyping environments and advanced RF validation applications.
The solderless design utilizes a threaded interface to ensure consistent connector-to-PCB contact without the inconsistencies caused by solder joints, reflow processes or manual assembly techniques. Designed to support broadband performance up to 40 GHz, these connectors maintain impedance control across different PCB stack-ups and enable easy installation, removal and reuse during iterative development processes. They are manufactured from passivated stainless steel with gold-plated beryllium copper contacts and ULTEM insulators, and provide long-term durability and reliable electrical performance in demanding test and measurement environments.

MMCX Cable Assemblies on RG-178 Cable For Wireless Modules
These 50 ohm MMCX cable assembly configurations feature a straight or right-angled MMCX on one end and an IP67 bulkhead SMA, TNC, RP-TNC or N-Type straight jack on the other.. They are designed on ultra-thin RG-178 cable which provides excellent electrical performance up to 6 GHz and reliable connectivity in short-distance, low frequency RF applications. The combination of MMCX, which is regularly used on the board, and more robust connectors, offers a variety of options for usage including portable devices, GPS, Wi-Fi and within vehicle designs such agricultural construction, earth moving, mining and other heavy industrial equipment.
These between-series assemblies allow a cable to be connected from outside of a panel where a threaded interface is located and are specifically designed for wireless communication modules with MMCX connectors on the board. The connectors that are outside of the panel are sealed to prevent temporary ingress of water and other fluids. This eliminates the risk of the system being compromised due to external elements.
