Amphenol RF is pleased to introduce the SMPM Bullet Tool into our growing portfolio of tools designed to make installation and removal processes streamlined. This new tool is compatible with machined and stamped versions of the SMPM bullet, ensuring widespread compatibility. The tool permits easy insertion or removal of SMPM bullets from the SMPM jack, allowing sensitive and fragile projects to be completed with ease. Additionally, the time it takes to remove and replace SMPM bullets is significantly decreased, improving efficiency. Gaining access to connectors in applications where there are tight spaces is frictionless through the usage of this tool.
The materials used on the tool’s removable and swappable collet are nickel plated beryllium copper, while the body is made from nickel plated brass. The thumb knob is made from black Delrin, and when pressed opens the collet and readies the tool for the SMPM bullet insertion or extraction. This tool is specially-designed and suited for use with field technicians, assembly lines, labs and all applications utilizing SMPM bullets.
Available as off-the-shelf solutions, the SMPM Bullet Tool is the first in a new line of tools engineered for precision bullet insertion and removal.
