Amphenol RF is pleased to introduce 2.92 mm connectors engineered to accommodate 0.141” conformable cable enabling stable, low loss high-frequency test and instrumentation usage. Broadband electrical performance up to 40 GHz provides support for millimeter-wave signal integrity in laboratory and production environments. A low VSWR ensures repeatable measurements, minimized signal reflections and guarantees dependability. 2.92 mm connectors support flexible cable routing and panel-mount system designs and are highly suited for 5G, aerospace and broadband communication applications.
The connectors are available in straight plug and bulkhead jack configurations with gold-plated stainless steel bodies coupled with beryllium copper contacts ensuring excellent corrosion resistance and long-term mechanical durability. The insulator is naturally finished Ultem 1000 with an insulator disc made from naturally finished PTFE. The quality materials used in these connectors allows them to withstand a wide temperature range, which ensures performance in a variety of environments.
These new 2.92 mm connectors join a broad offering of RF interconnect designed to meet the increasing need for high-frequency data transmission in ultramodern applications.
