What materials are used in your connectors?

Amphenol RF connectors are manufactured from high-quality materials selected for mechanical strength, conductivity and durability. Common materials include brass and stainless steel for connector bodies, beryllium copper or phosphor bronze for contacts, and PTFE or other high-performance plastics for dielectrics.

Material selection depends on the specific connector series and intended application. For example, stainless steel connectors offer superior corrosion resistance for outdoor environments, while beryllium copper contacts ensure excellent spring properties and low insertion loss.
