Non-magnetic SMPM connectors are engineered with non-ferrous materials and are available in smooth bore and full detent configurations compatible with existing non-magnetic bullet adapters for a full board-to-board solution. The small footprint of the SMPM interface allows these connectors to be used in a variety of applications where space constraints are a concern making it ideal for applications such as MRI, quantum computing and instrumentation equipment

Non-magnetic SMPM connectors utilize a gold-plated beryllium copper body and contact along with a PTFE insulator, ensuring excellent electrical conductivity. Non-magnetic SMPM connectors prevent potential hazards that come from magnetic interference and ensure that RF signals are not compromised which is essential for critical medical technology such as magnetic resonance angiography (MRA), MRI scanners, medical imaging components and specialized surgical instrumentation.
