TNC Adapter
Amphenol RF offers a wide array of both in-series and between-series TNC adapters in straight and right-angle configurations. 50-ohm and 75-ohm impedance TNC adapters are available with and without panel mounting features. Popular mounting features in bulkhead, both front and rear mount, and 4-hole flange designs. 50-ohm TNC connectors have a frequency range from DC to 11 GHz. 75-ohm TNC connectors have a maximum frequency of 3 GHz.

In-series TNC adapters feature a TNC plug or TNC jack interface on both sides of the adapter. TNC jack to TNC jack adapters with no mounting features are sometimes referred to as TNC barrel adapters. In-series TNC adapters can be used as gender changers, converting from a plug to jack or vice versa. In production test and measurement applications, TNC adapters can also be used as connector savers where they will be mated to the minimum number of allowable cycles and replaced. This saves overall cost as expensive cable assemblies will not need to be replaced as often.

Between-series TNC adapters allow dissimilar interfaces to be connected. Amphenol RF offers between-series adapters allowing TNC interfaces to mate with AMC, BNC, FME, MCX, Mini-UHF, Type N, QMA, RP-SMA, RP-TNC, SMA, TNC and UHF coaxial interfaces. Like in-series adapters, TNC between series adapters can be used as connector savers and gender changes with the added benefit of changing the interface.

TNC tee adapters feature 3 ports and are offered as well in a variety of configurations. T-shaped adapters and Y-shaped adapters are available.
