Amphenol RF is pleased to introduce 2.92 mm connectors engineered for high-frequency applications that require reliable signal integrity and repeatable mechanical performance. These vertical PBC jacks are available in stripline and microstip configurations and eliminate solder joint variability. Solderless 2.92 mm connectors provide secure PCB attachment for microwave and millimeter-wave systems, prototyping environments and advanced RF validation applications.

The solderless design utilizes a threaded interface to ensure consistent connector-to-PCB contact without the inconsistencies caused by solder joints, reflow processes or manual assembly techniques. Designed to support broadband performance up to 40 GHz, these connectors maintain impedance control across different PCB stack-ups and enable easy installation, removal and reuse during iterative development processes. They are manufactured from passivated stainless steel with gold-plated beryllium copper contacts and ULTEM insulators, and provide long-term durability and reliable electrical performance in demanding test and measurement environments.
