Single Crimp N-Type Connectors

Single crimp N-Type connectors offer the ability to attach the connectors to cable with only one crimp of the ferrule, eliminating the need to crimp the contact separately. These connectors are IP67-rated when mated and feature a hex-shaped body for easy handling. Single-crimp N-Type connectors are well-suited for applications that require installation in the field with minimal tools such as antennas, base stations and radar systems.

These N-Type connectors are engineered with a nickel-plated brass body and gold-plated beryllium copper contact, and feature a PTFE insulator. They provide reliable RF performance up to 6 GHz and allow for a minimum of 500 mating cycles. The durable medium-sized interface features a threaded coupling mechanism for secure mating and vibration-resistance which makes them ideal for equipment located in harsh environments.

MCX Cable Assemblies on RG-316 for Wireless Modules

MCX straight and right-angle plug configurations feature rugged IP67 bulkhead SMA, RP-SMA, TNC, RP-TNC and N-Type straight jacks. These assemblies are designed on flexible RG- 316 cable which provides high heat resistance, durability and low signal loss, and is ideal for high-frequency RF applications.

These between-series assemblies allow a cable to be connected from outside of a panel where a threaded  interface is located. They are specifically designed for wireless communication modules with MCX connectors in the board. The combination of MCX and more robust connectors offers a variety of options for usage. The connectors that are on the outside of the panel are sealed to prevent temporary ingress of water and other fluids. This eliminates the risk of the system being compromised due to external elements.
