PFAS-Free SMA Connectors and Adapters
PFAS-free RF interconnect feature PEEK insulators and are designed specifically for cable types that are likewise free of PTFE for a complete solution that is free of potentially harmful materials. The entire product line has undergone extensive electrical testing to ensure that these connectors meet the high standard of performance set by Amphenol RF.
MMCX Cable Assemblies on RG-174 for Wireless Modules
These between-series assemblies allow a cable to be connected from outside of a panel where a threaded interface is located. They are specifically designed for wireless communication modules with MMCX connectors in the board. The combination of MMCX and more robust connectors offers a variety of options for usage. The connectors that are on the outside of the panel are sealed to prevent temporary ingress of water and other fluids. This eliminates the risk of the system being compromised due to external elements.

SMP Bullet Insertion and Extraction Tool
The SMP tool features a nickel-plated beryllium copper removable/swappable collet, and a body machined from nickel-plated brass with black delrin knobs. To remove or insert an SMP bullet, press the thumb knob fully, insert the bullet into the collet, release the knob, and either pull the center knob to remove or press the knob again to release the bullet from the tool.
FAKRA Rear Mount Bulkhead Plug for RG-58 and LMR-195
communication, ADAS and machine-to-machine communication.
These rear mount bulkhead plugs allow the connector to mount through a panel or enclosure wall,
providing a stable and secure connection point. These plugs are sealed in both the mated and unmated
condition, ensuring that no contaminants enter and the system remains secure despite external
conditions. A gasket seals the interface internally, while an o-ring seal sits between the flange and panel
mount for additional security. These FAKRA plugs are constructed with a ruggedized, high-performance
plastic housing over a nickel-plated diecast zinc alloy body and flange. They also feature a gold-plated
brass center contact and a nickel-plated copper ferrule.
These 50 ohm FAKRA plugs ensure reliable, high-frequency data transmission up to 6 GHz and standard
straight crimp die sets are used to terminate the connector to the cable.
2.92 mm to 2.92 mm Adapters
2.92 mm adapters offer high-frequency performance up to 40 GHz, ensuring accurate signal integrity across broadband and millimeter-wave test systems. Low VSWR ensures consistent measurement repeatability and minimizes insertion loss. These adapters are intermateable with SMA and 3.5 mm connectors for flexible test configurations. Their ruggedized precision design is rated for 500 mating cycles, ensuring longevity in any field. Their compact form factor makes them ideal for demanding space-constrained applications such as microwave and millimeter-wave test instrumentation, 5G, radar and broadband communication systems and aerospace and defense evaluation setups.
Durable, stainless steel bodies with gold-plated beryllium copper contacts provide long-term mechanical stability and corrosion resistance in harsh environments. Dielectric components use ULTEM 1000 and PTFE for increased mechanical strength, improved phase stability and excellent high-frequency insulation performance. Each configuration is meticulously precision-machined to meet MIL-STD-348 interface standards for guaranteed 2.92 mm compatibility.
