MCX cable assemblies for wireless modules are designed on ultra-thin RG-178 coaxial cable which provides excellent electrical performance up to 6 GHz and reliable connectivity in short-distance, low frequency RF applications. These between-series assemblies allow a cable to be connected from outside of a panel where a threaded interface is located and are specifically designed for wireless communication modules with MCX connectors on the board.

The combination of MCX, which is regularly used on the board, and more robust connectors, offers a variety of options for usage including portable devices, GPS, Wi-Fi and within vehicle designs such agricultural construction, earth moving, mining and other heavy industrial equipment. The connectors that are outside of the panel are sealed to prevent temporary ingress of water and other fluids. This eliminates the risk of the system being compromised due to external elements. 

SMA to unterminated cable assemblies allow engineers and systems designers the ability to terminate the cable assembly to a connector or terminator of their choice giving them ultimate flexibility. These assemblies provide a reliable connection point for system integration and are ideal for use in test and measurement, aerospace and prototype development environments.

The SMA pigtail assembly supports applications up to 18 GHz and features a stainless-steel gold-plated body with a gold-plated beryllium copper contact. The SMA connector interface ensures broad compatibility with standard RF equipment used across test benches, instrumentation platforms and validation systems. The assembly is now available in standard lengths of 3 to 12 inches to support various design requirements and customizations.

HD-BNC bulkhead connectors on micro cable offer a bulkhead mount to securely attach the connector to a panel. The high-density form factor allows customers to attach up to four times as many connectors as a standard BNC on a single panel. The bayonet coupling mechanism provides secure mating while still allowing for simple mating and unmating. These connectors are suited for high-frequency broadcasting and telecommunications applications.

The bulkhead HD-BNC connector features a gold-plated brass body and gold-plated beryllium copper contact with a nut, inner ferrule, bullet contact and sleeve. The gold-plating provides superior corrosion resistance and conductivity, with the connector supporting frequencies of up to 9 GHz. This connector is engineered for a variety of micro-coax cable types including RG-178, 0.81, 1.13 and 1.37 mm cable.

SMA assemblies on hand formable 0.085" conformable cable provide versatility in new designs that may require custom shapes, superior shielding capabilities and rugged performance. SMA cable assemblies on conformable cable are ideal for RF and microwave applications such as laboratory testing and industrial infrastructure.

This in-series SMA plug to jack assembly in engineered with durable gold-plated, brass connectors and is available in standard lengths from 3 inches to 48 inches. This configuration supports board-to-panel and module applications that require high-frequency performance up to 18 GHz. 0.085” conformable cable provides the electrical performance of semi-rigid cable with the installation flexibility of a formable cable. This cable can be bent and formed by hand during installation, eliminating the need for additional tools, and will maintain its shape in compact RF designs and controlled routing paths allowing for optimal signal routing.

The end-launch rear-mount SMA Bulkhead connector offers low VSWR performance which ensures reliable impedance matching and signal integrity. The end-launch PCB interface has a 10 millimeter center pin which supports controlled impedance transitions at the board edge. This SMA bulkhead jack is highly optimized for RF and microwave instrumentation, enclosure-mounted communication systems and industrial RF equipment applications.

This connector is constructed from gold-plated brass body and beryllium copper contact, which improves conductivity for a 26.5 GHz frequency range capacity. It also features a gold-plated brass hex nut and washer, along with a natural PTFE insulator. The 500 mating cycle rated interface of the connector meets the MIL-STD-348 specification ensuring compatibility with standard SMA mating connectors.
