Driven modal is more accurate for the simulations of our connectors as it will show if other modes are generated at higher frequencies. As this model is intended for a board launch optimization and not a full system simulation, we suggest first trying to set up the simulation as driven modal. We typically do not provide driven terminal 3D component models, but can generate one if you’re unable to simulate as driven modal.
